The Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera is on its way

The new lighter, faster version of the Lamborghini Huracan has been spotted testing at the Nurburgring.

Lamborghini’s Superleggera update will offer a more extreme version of the Huracan, designed for road and track use. Spy images reveal some external changes to the Huracan, including a new bumper at the rear, quad exhaust pipes and a fixed rear wing for downforce.

The Superleggera is likely to shed 100kg of weight, as well as receiving tweaks to boost the 5.2-litre V10 engine. Performance for the standard Huracan is an impressive 602bhp and 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds, the new lightweight version will outstrip this.

The Superleggera is expected to debut at the Paris Motor Show 2016, with first deliveries in 2017. The starting price will be upwards of £200,000.
