The limited-edition Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante

Aston Martin and the Italian design house, Zagato, have released a new collaboration at Pebble Beach. The new Volante is the convertible version of the Aston Martin Coupe.

The partnership between Aston Martin and Zagato dates back to the 1960s, and the new model is a beauty! The Volante has been released following extremely high demand for the Vanquish Zagato Coupe, and will be limited to a mere 99 examples.

The drop-top Volante runs off the same naturally-aspirated 5.9-litre V12 engine, and boasts strong performance statistics. The new model delivers 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and a flat out speed of 200mph.

The styling for the Volante is similar to the Coupe, featuring a large front grille, LED lights, slim headlights, wide haunches and a sharp tail end. The convertible gets some new additions, including twin cowls on the rear deck, cloth mechanical folding roof, new sills and new rear splitter. The exterior is finished in the same bespoke red and gold detailing.

The interior features bronze detailing throughout. The cabin is finished in tanned coloured Bridge of Weir premium leather, with carbonfibre trim.  The seats and panels have quilted ‘Z’ patterns, and the theme is continued with an embossed ‘Z’ on the headrests and console.  Aston Martin’s ‘Q’ division is also on hand and will go to any length to fully customise the car to the buyer’s specification.

The beautiful, limited-edition Volante is expected to cost upwards of £500,000 and deliveries are scheduled for the start of 2017.
